Halloween

Despite the personal dramas around my house the Halloween shoots were awesome! Did a straight forward set up with green gel, spotlight and had a smoke machine. Had 2 gravestones as props. My nephew was the mascot for the day in his Dracula costume so I did a couple test shots to make sure it all looked good while Skanky Zombie got her makeup done. We even got shots of him with everyone except the zombie..cos we forgot :(

Skanky zombie was completely brilliant but I can't upload any until I know which ones I can put up online by the client because some involve nudity. We had a ton of fun though, I had a fake arm, brains, heart, fingers and BLOOD!! Next up was the Green Fairy. She had dodgy wings! So we tried to think fairy..so we have "prancing"..and kissing a skull. That is VERY fairy like I'll have you know!! Since she was green we decided to call her the Absinthe fairy lol 3rd was a porcelain doll and ventriloquist dummy. He was quite scary looking. So we went for stiff and floppy type poses.

The jewellery shoot went off really well. 4 hours of straight shooting though I was having a hard time being able to tell if I was focusing or not. Lillie is a hoot to work with and she ended up knowing the other model which made life easier! I made a deal with the Kittie Chaos girls, all these photos are going to be used in flyers and in street press advertising etc so my name will be on them somewhere as "photographer". So I'm busy busy working on them to hand them over on Sunday at the Retro markets. I love their stuff :D

I've got 2 more studio bookings for this year so one is going to be my xmas theme special. Costume 1 has been bought! I don't need to worry too much about props for this one either which will be good, might just bring in some random stuff. With how well Halloween went I'm really looking forward to these ones. Would be good to get some actual week work though. Getting some flyers made asap. I might even have a location shoot finally! I do love the studio though..so much easier to control lighting LOL I was talking to the Frenzy chick too and she told me about some markets she was looking up and suggested it to me. Was actually really cheap. Tempting. Not right now though..maybe early next year. OOh next year I'm going to be quite possibly doing some joint photo work at a fetish party next year :D There's only one party left for this year..not sure I'm going to make it though. Got alot going on right now.

um yeah it's in Helenas fridge. I forget the size..5x4 I think. Was about $5 per piece, I think there's 10 in the box..but it might be only 5. She should still have it in there. Got half a box of colour paper too sitting in my fridge doing nothing :(
